Late Model Racecraft's Standing Mile Camaro set a new world record at the Texas Mile in Beeville Texas in March 2012 running a blistering 253.1mph. This car currently holds the title as the worlds FASTEST Camaro. It is powered by an LSX 461ci engine and an LMR custom twin turbo system sporting twin GT42-82 turbos. It is shifted by a custom LMR Faceplated T-56 transmission with GForce gear set.

Late Model Racecraft's Outlaw Drag Radial car qualified #1 at the season opener of the LSX Shootout in Bradenton Florida with a 7.23 @198mph. This also set the new class record giving LMR bonus points for the championship. This Firebird is powered by an LSX 427ci engine and LMR custom twin turbo system sporting twin GT47-88 billet wheel turbos. It is shifted by a Rossler TH-210 3 speed transmission and helping it accelerate down the track is a custom Pro Torque converter.

 

August 2013 - Late Model Racecraft's Outlaw Drag Radial car qualified #1 in the Shop Car Class.

After setting the world record for fastest corvette in the mile, General Motors gave LMR the nod to use their wind tunnel for a day for test purposes to try and improve on the existing record of 231mph. Late Model Racecraft was humbled by the experience and took home some useful knowledge with the help of some of General Motors' top engineers.

Late Model Racecraft took home the LSX Championship trophy in 2008 and 2010. The LMR camaro was sold over seas to a customer in Qatar. The Camaro now runs in a non-transbrake street car class. The twin turbo Firebird not only won the event in 2010, but also set the ET and MPH record in the class with a 7.24 @209mph!

Late Model Racecraft's standing Mile Corvette set a new world record at the Texas Mile in Beeville Texas in May 2011 with a run at 231mph. Most recently in October 2012, this 'Vette won the Texas Invitational King of the Streets event, along with the Corvette Shootout. This car is powered by an LSX 427ci engine and LMR custom twin turbo system sporting twin 76mm turbos mounted in the rear of the vehicle. This car still includes the factory radio/navigation and air conditioning to make street driving more desirable.
